The diary and teacher’s guide, produced by Generation Europe Foundation with the help of the Office of Fair Trade in Malta, are provided free of charge by the European Commission.

What is the Europa Diary?

  • A school diary for students to write down their homework and activities with inspirational quotes, fun facts or thought-provoking questions at the bottom of each page
  • A valuable classroom resource on important topics for young people: health issues, environmental issues, the European Union, career opportunities and more
  • Attractive graphical style
  • Web addresses (Maltese and European) are included to refer students to more in-depth information

The Europa Diary helps young people to:

  • Act responsibly by considering the social, economic and environmental consequences of their actions

The content of the diary is refreshed every year, in view of recent developments and feedback from teachers and students.

What is the Teacher’s Guide?

It’s a resource that:

  • helps teachers broaden their students’ awareness and understanding of the issues addressed in the diary
  • contains suggestions for classroom or homework activities, based on the contents of the diary: research, discussion, analysis, debates, quizzes, etc.
