Your Wise Choices? Europa Diary
and Teacher’s Guide

Over 3,000,000 copies of the 2010-2011 edition of the Eurpa Diary have been ordered by teachers... and we have none left to give. Using the on-line order form, you may still leave your contact details and the quantity of diaries you would have liked to receive: if more copies become available, we will be able to honour some of these requests.

A wealth of information on:

  • The European Union
  • Career opportunities
  • Healthy Living
  • Environmental issues

The diaries and teachers’ guides, produced by Generation Europe Foundation with the help of I Am Tomorrow (IAT) and Generation Europe Foundation United Kingdom (GEF UK), is provided free of charge by the European Commission.

What is the Wise Choices? Europa Diary?

  • A school diary for students to write down their homework and activities with inspirational quotes, fun facts or thought-provoking questions at the bottom of each page
  • A valuable classroom resource on important topics for young people: career opportunities, healthy living, environmental issues, the European Union and more
  • Up-to-date information and attractive graphical style
  • Web addresses (UK and European) are included to refer students to more in-depth information
  • Quotes from fellow students across Europe

The Wise Choices? Europa Diary helps young people:

  • Think critically
  • Act responsibly by considering the social, economic and environmental consequences of their actions
  • Make informed decisions
  • Become active citizens

The content of the diary is refreshed every year, in view of recent developments and feedback from teachers and students.

What is the Teacher’s Guide?

  • A resource to help teachers broaden the students’ awareness and understanding of the issues addressed in the diary
  • Contains suggestions for classroom or homework activities, based on the contents of the diary: research, discussion, analysis, debates, quizzes, etc
